REAL-TIME VIDEO STREAMING SYSTEM
Cuatro Digital takes part, alongside Avincis, in the Civil UAVs Initiative led by the Xunta de Galicia, which promotes innovative solutions based on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Within this framework we are contributing to the project to create a complete cardiac protection service on a stretch of the Camino de Santiago using UAVs connected to the 061 emergency service.
The need for this solution stems from the duty of the Xunta de Galicia's health services to respond to any medical emergency in the region. Using unmanned vehicles will allow a rapid response in hard-to-reach places to a very common time-critical condition such as cardiac arrest.
As part of this solution, Cuatro Digital develops the API module that exposes the functionality needed to manage real-time video streaming signals from the aircraft, supporting the SRT, RTSP, RTMP and HLS protocols and the H264 and H265 codecs. The API is built on the WOWZA engine.
